About Mars Today
A versatile San Francisco-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, Mars Today employs a velvety blend of R&B, electronic pop, hip-hop, jazz, and reggae. An in-demand vocalist and writer (he has collaborated with Esta, Da-P, Krs, and Jahkoy, among others), his solo work has been supported by a host of popular and progressive digital music collectives, including Soulection, Film Noir, and Fete, and his SoundCloud and YouTube channels are heavily trafficked. In 2015 he issued his debut EP, Awake, followed by another EP, Bits & Pieces, in 2017. In 2018 he contributed the single “High Stakes” to the Soulection UNITE relief compilation, which helped raise money for disaster relief in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands.
