About The Great Inferno
We pulled a band together in 2017. We called it The Great Inferno, even if, after all, at the time life wasn't that bad. Maybe we look forward. In 2019, during the recording of the first album All The While White Collides With Black, Paul Mellory, our singer, bass player, brother, moved to heaven. We cried. We tried to burn it all down and close this story even before it started. We didn't make it. With the help and embrace of our music scene, we finished and released that record to put a stop to this non-story. But, once again, we didn't make it. The great inferno of being has continued to give us reasons to track down in a few chords pattern the need to be pierced by emotions, to push the words down our throat, like smoke, and then spit them out in na form that is dark, hypnotic and pop. POP LIKE HELL.
