About Mark Playmore

Ricardo Sebastian Escalona Martinez (born in 2002) aka Mark Playmore, is a Mexican DJ, producer, and beatmaker. Currently living in Toluca, MX, Mark Playmore has been making music since 13 years old, self-taught in production and mixing Mark currently produces electronic music and beats from his bedroom. <br/> <br/> House music has always shaped Mark’s work. Inspired by the way artists like Marc Kinchen and Skrillex interact with their fans while performing, Mark chose music as his career path.<br/> <br/> In December of 2020 Mark Playmore came across a track released under Silver Gun Records - “Si Quieres Insistir” by Giuliana, Mark Playmore fell in love with the track and decided to remix it. Taking a shot in the dark, Mark sent the track to the label, and to his surprise, the SGR team loved the rendition. The label decided to bring Mark Playmore onto their roster and feature a number of remixes from different SGR artists as a project under the label which is set to release throughout 2021. Only time will tell what lays ahead for this young and talented DJ.<br/> <br/> Mark Playmore teamed up with SGR CEO Alexis Rodriguez to start their electronic music project Neocaridina. They released their single “Jungle Shrimp” in July of 2022.
