Giuliana, having lived in both the U.S. and Mexico, is a singer-songwriter with a unique multicultural perspective on life, music, and the soul. Her appreciation for the beauty and blemishes on both sides of the border has manifested in her distinctive, uplifting, and soulful sound; one that delivers a clear message for unity and equity, and offers an anthemic voice for change.<br/> <br/> Giuliana Catalina Guadalupe Flores was born on December 12th, 1993 in San Diego, California, and was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. At the age of 13, Giuliana began to pursue her interest in music and songwriting after a visit from her cousin, a guitar prodigy, who insisted she starts singing and playing guitar. Reeling in influences from Mexican and American pop music, Disney Channel soundtracks, and the Latin trovadores that her father loved: Silvio Rodriguez, Fernando Delgadillo, and Nicho Hinojosa, Giuliana started writing her own music. In 2009, Giuliana moved back to San Diego, marking a personal, cultural, and musical transition. Music, to Giuliana, transformed from simple interest to a passion and purpose. <br/> <br/> In 2016, Giuliana released her first album, Giuliana (En Vivo), showcasing her skills as both performer and songwriter. Giuliana’s memorable and meaningful musical signature, inspired by the anthemic works of songwriters such as Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles, and Silvio Rodriguez, proved to be remarkably successful. Giuliana reached over 130,000 streams of her song, “Los Dos Queremos.” She performed at the Ultimate Ears Stage at NAMM, the San Diego Latino Film Festival, the Tweedy Mile Street Fair, a Latin Billboard Private Media Party, and Basico 40. She also toured around Mexico, opening for acts like Carlos Rivera, Pablo Alborán, Matisse, Leonel Garcia, Vanessa Zamora, and Alex Cuba.<br/> <br/> In 2017, Giuliana was introduced to Silver Gun Records by the same cousin that inspired her to pursue music. Giuliana continued on her own path for a few years, independently releasing her songs, “Calor Del Fuego” and “No Soy Tu Baby” which fully embody her spirited activism. As her fan base grew, she became an ambassador for Martin Guitars and was featured on Telemundo 52, Newsweek México, Diario De México, and more. <br/> <br/> In 2020 Giuliana was pulled onto the Silver Gun Records roster. She has released “Ciencia Del Amor” and “Si Quieres Insistir” in November of 2020.
